Introduction (for babyboom or defensive players in BOOM!!!)

OK, boys, we are predominantly a defensive alliance. This means that our main job is to produce quality defensive troops for attacking players to utilise.

Also, if we are here late in the game, we will be vital to the WW effort. It ain't a pretty job, but someone has to do it, and when it is done well, it is incredibly valuable.

Attacking players need to be very active, very vigilant and raid lots to make up for troop losses. This discounts 90+% of the server players from being effective attacking players. Defensive players can be more relaxed, 'cause they know that they can walk away from their account for a while.

I want to define some terms.

"Quality" means that troops are defensively appropriate for the tribe. This means that the defensive capabilities of the troop, after taking into account the crop production, is strongest. This pretty much means footsoldiers for all the tribes.

Praets are the best defensive troop in the game versus infantry, and most of the offense in the game is infantry offense. They consume one crop, and provide excellent defense for this. Legionaires are the second best defensive troop for romans, and provide defence against cavalry.

Phalanxs are the best allround defensive troop in the game. Cheap to produce, and consuming small amounts of crop only, the are good against horses and footsoldiers.

Spearmen are the best troop in the game versus cavalry. Teutons need to produce as many as possible.

Also, by "quality", I mean that defensive troops need their defense upgraded in the armory. This should start as soon as you have about 300 defensive troops.
